Leilani turned one! We had a party together with Ian, the Sunday before her actual birthday.
It was a beautiful day at the Taro Patch, not too hot, not too many mosquitoes, the guests were great and the babies were happy.
The only downside was that Andy’s camera has had some severe problems recently, and we barely have 5 usable photos of the party. So friends gave us their photos, and we are still waiting for a few more. That’s why you have not seen many photos on the blog recently. Thanks to Karla and Claus for most of the ones you see here.

Leilani has not been feeling well for a few days, and today she saw Dr Ancharski. She is not really sick, just had a little fever and a snotty nose and was extra cranky, he gave her some herbs and pulsatilla x200 and also did her one year checkup at the same time.
Her new measurements are:
Height: 29.5 inches = 75 cm = normal (unchanged since Oct. 24)
Weight: 20.5 pounds = 9.5 kg= low average (unchanged since Oct. 24)
Head circumference = 17 3/4 inches = 45 cm
she also went to Wilcox a few days later – they have a more sensitive scale and Leilani actually lay still for measuring her length:
Height 30.5 inches
Weight 21 poinds
