Steam Train in February

Andy took Leilani and her friends Eden and Devon to the steam train on Feb. 9th

Our Garden in January

I found a few old photos. The blog is a big mess, I don’t expect to ever fix it, but I do hope to catch up…

Our Avo blooming. Now the young avos are al most as big as the Hass variety that Trader Joe’s sells

Our edible Hibiscus, before the bugs got to it

Young oranges. Orange by now

ANd we had lots of spiders, like every spring. They are gone now.

Our Surinam Cherry. It had fruit almost continuously from February till now.

Forgotten Photos

I tried this as a punishment for a while, did not really work well in terms of stopping the behavior. But writing, lines and stories makes her calm, and seems to be a good exercise…

She wrote this just for fun

More crafts

Valentine’s day… I don’t think I ever was so far behind on the blog

I added more photos of crafts to this post on the puppet stage

Rosemary was here in January.

I lost about 20 pounds since this photo was taken. (And I ran over 5 miles today and am dead tired)

“No computers are allowed in bed. Pet the cat instead.”

Was ist Unterwasser mit Drachen los?

A long time ago Leilani wrote a book on dragons. It is in German, I hope I’ll soon have time to translate it.

(It’s big, so it will take some time to load)

English spelling

Yes I know I did a few posts on that… but this one is funny again.

I asked Leilani to read this. She read it fluently, except for 3 words, and did not at all question when I “read” these for her:

The words were “SMAE” and “SITIL” and “SLPELNIG”. She was a bit surprised though when I read to her what it really said.
