White Cabbage – or
Weißkraut bleibt Weißkraut und Sauerkraut bleibt Sauerkraut!

I don’t cook too many traditional Austrian dishes… but recently they started growing nice and cheap white cabbage on Hawaii, and I bought 2 big ones.

I prepared it with the exact spices I usually put into Sauerkraut and Leilani was not around when I made it. She took a bite and yelled out. “Mommy, the Sauerkraut is not sour at all, it tastes horrible!!!”

After I convinced her it was a different dish she liked it though.
