Follow me. Follow Leilani, running. Dady come too. Chase me.&#8221; was her record today. I think she walked \/ ran \/ was chased about a mile at the park&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Climbing at one of the old playstructures at the Wailua Houselots park.<br \/>\n<a href='http:\/\/simplify-your-life.com\/blog\/images2\/second-year\/19m\/19m_climbing_in_park.jpg'><img src='http:\/\/simplify-your-life.com\/blog\/images2\/second-year\/19m\/web\/19m_climbing_in_park.jpg' \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Andy writes: another conversation I had earlier today:<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Leilani, what did we have at the beach yesterday?<br \/>\n&mdash; Nam-nam! (I was trying to get her to tell about the campfire)<br \/>\n&mdash; That&#8217;s right, we had a picnic. And how did we cook the food?<br \/>\n&mdash; Fire!<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, yesterday was <a href=\"http:\/\/home.hawaii.rr.com\/hawaiianweb\/holiday04.html\" target=\"_new\" >Kamehameha Day<\/a> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kamehamehadaycelebration.org\/\" target=\"_new\" >photo<\/a>), and we did all those things with some friends from the usual gang. I did explain to her about the fire and cooking food (a concept she seems to understand) at the time, and she was very good around it.
