We had fed them every day, and Leilani named that one Spotty. Spotty came running when we called her, and to beg for food she sang softly. Really. Not quite like a singing bird, but for a chicken it sounded really very nice.<br \/>\n<img src='http:\/\/simplify-your-life.com\/blog\/images2\/6\/1\/web\/101208-k-spotty-close.jpg' height=\"600\" width=\"450\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img src='http:\/\/simplify-your-life.com\/blog\/images2\/6\/1\/web\/101208-k-spotty1.jpg' height=\"450\" width=\"600\"\/><\/p>\n<p>That, as you can guess, was Blackie<br \/>\n<img src='http:\/\/simplify-your-life.com\/blog\/images2\/6\/1\/web\/101208-k-blacky.jpg' height=\"450\" width=\"600\"\/><\/p>\n<p>and Brownie<br \/>\n<img src='http:\/\/simplify-your-life.com\/blog\/images2\/6\/1\/web\/101208-k-brownie.jpg' height=\"450\" width=\"600\"\/><\/p>\n<p>or maybe that was Brownie<br \/>\n<img src='http:\/\/simplify-your-life.com\/blog\/images2\/6\/1\/web\/101208-k-chicken.jpg' height=\"450\" width=\"600\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Leilani wrote and drew a letter to Jaya. The letter had started on a tax form, in the tax office, and continued with lots of tears, when I&#8217;d talked to the pesky lady and ignored my precious child who needed help writing&#8230; When she didn&#8217;t get it she proceeded to throw a tantrum that made other people walk out of the tax office.
