We spent our second final vacation on Kauai at Anini – for a few it will still come as a surprise, but we will leave Kauai, probably in October. We are planning to be back in 2 years at the latest.<\/p>\n

There was a lot of wind. I think she looks like a wind blown fairy, or an Emily in the front of a Rolls Royce, or a bow sprit carving in the front of a ship
\n<\/a><\/p>\n

On our last evening we fired up a lot of guava wood that we had brought from home (and even earlier from Ho’opi’i falls<\/a>)
\n<\/a><\/p>\n

We went kayaking a lot – in preparation of our final vacation here – Kayak Kalalau<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

We kayaked up the Kilauea river and then hiked to a beautiful waterfall. We started at Rockquarry beach:
\nOur beloved A’alapua, who we will have to find a good home for now.

We took a bath en route to the waterfall and I also jumped from a ropeswing – not gracefully enough to post the photo though…

We met Jaya and her family at rockquarry when we came back
\n<\/a><\/p>\n

Also went kayaking on the Kalihiwai river
