Leilani wanted a haircut ever since she saw the kid’s hair salon on San Bruno Ave. (there is something to be said against<\/i><\/b> the habits here of walking to places and having many small specialized stores and businesses.) <\/p>\n
Andy checked it out, and said the have a parent child combo for $25 and I should go. No way I replied, still remembering the $5 Supercut I received 10 years ago, and the $45 and 3 months it required my hair to first be fixed, and then grow back to a reasonable length. Well, then I’ll go said Andy, I admired his heroism.<\/p>\n
When they came back Leilani actually looked cute. Because she looked like a boy they had put 2 little bows in her hair. <\/p>\n
Andy however did not look cute, he looked like he had been run over by a lawnmower. My first question was if there had nobody been available who actually had cut hair before, and my next reaction was more positive: The best thing about this haircut was, that I could not possibly make it worse. The hair was up to an inch different on both sides, and the person had obviously not taken into consideration that Andy’s hair was curly (among many other not considered things like style, fashion, and that one should actually look better upon leaving the salon than when entering…)<\/p>\n
Anyway, with Andy’s permission I took scissors, comb and towel and within 10 minutes Andy looked a lot better. He has short hair now.<\/p>\n
Leilani anounced that she liked short hair, and planned to go back to the salon.<\/p>\n
