She was about to whip the eggs with a hand mixer, and like always that was preceded by a lot of warnings&#8230;<br \/>\nSonja: &#8220;May we ever put in the beaters while it&#8217;s plugged in?&#8221;<br \/>\nLeilani: &#8220;No, I could accidentally touch the power button and it might break my finger.&#8221;<br \/>\nSonja: &#8220;Or worse&#8230;&#8221;<br \/>\nLeilani: &#8220;And then I could only count to nine with my fingers&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And just if you wonder why Sonja worries so much about fingers and such&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=E3mzhvMgrLE\" target=\"_blank\">watch this video of sawstop<\/a>. No really, I have a very vivid memory of one of my friends cutting off a finger in his late teens with my dad&#8217;s saw.
