As part of the Narzissenfest Hanni Reichenvater, a local nature specialist and herbalist lead a short hike to learn about local herbs, wild foods and flowers.<\/p>\n

\nHanni explains the use of a plant “Bibernelle” (Pimpinella saxifraga) against the bubonic plague in medieval times. We all got to taste the spicy root.

\nLeilani drank from every spring or fountain

\nLeilani really enjoyed learning more about herbs and being a little assistant

But occasionally she just ran off, into the fields, trampling the gras and picking the flowers…
