\nOcean is another yearling, but he chews manes (and my hair) and has to be kept separate… so he decided to follow the kids around, who went to feed the chickens. He managed to get into the chicken pen, here he is being coaxed out again.

\nThey have 2 super-cute foals. The moms and another mare are living with the stallion Gondor, who is very friendly.

\nSadly we did not get photos of ducks or geese andthe rescue-chickens – instead of heritage breeds they get the year-old layers from chicken farms that don’t produce enough for the factory-farm, but still lay more than an egg a day per chicken!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
