Gleisdorf 4

Oma and Leilani love the Dragon game

My cousin Andreas

Street of the Solar Energy

My mom’s pets are really funny:
Emmie cam in from the yard, proudly carrying half a walnut, Lara was really happy with this treat and ate it

What’s that, on the roof

(zoom, zoom…)

Leilani ran out to take this photo

Nom Nom Nom

This basket has an old carpet as blanket, supposedly to lie on, but a really nice hiding place for attacks on unsuspecting kids and dogs

I talked to my mom today, and she said Emmie had gone looking for us (actually for Leilani) all over the house…

That was not a beauty treatment in the classic sense… but crying too much puffs up a 6 year old’s eye-skin too. And cucumbers help…

Leilani took a bath, and Kia usually sleeps in the bathtub, she could not believe that her bed got flooded and the noisy one played in the water…

Last time mushroom hunting a few days before we had to leave

Vanves

We spent our week in Xaviers and Sakura’s apartment in Vanves
The apartment was very stylish and clean. I really liked the art on the walls. Unfortunately I did not manage to get a photo with Xaviers or Sakura…

I really liked the bread / croissants / baked goods from this little bakery

Old and new in Vanves

Paris – Arc De Triomphe

I said a while ago that that particular post was the last one about Paris… I lied :-)
This one is not the last one either, but just one more after that.

In other news, I am jet-lagged and can’t sleep. I went to bed at 7pm or so and got up at midnight. Not so good. But I can post all the remaining photos that way, maybe except for Vienna and the Styrassic park as they need more work…

We got out of the Metro pretty far away and walked up the Champs-Élysées

The service was bad, the coffee was very expensive and in the end Andy spilled his trying to take a better photo than that. (Sonja shared hers and the day got better again fast)

Oh, and there are no good photos of the Arc De Triomphe on this post, but they can be found here

We went for a beer and dinner with Xavier

The Paris city hall, once more

SNOW!

Our last day in Gleisdorf… we got our wish… snow!
