After Leilani’s recital she got these flowers


Andy picked the Surinam Cherries and made juice






Andy planted the WiliWili Trees at the dog park – they are growing beautiful by now, I hope to post photos of them soon again



This was the last backpost of the year 2016, but I have quite a few from 2015 to go.
We went there January 9th, first we cooled off at the beach


Then we visited the tortoise sanctuary. Tortoises often outlive their owners and they find a new home here, where they graze between native plants.

I would not trust Julie to leave the tortoises alone… I wish she had a less strong hunting instinct

Sadly the cave was closed, but at least the trails were open.







Jahi is incredibly cute…



and then there is Bennu…

but to be fair, Bennu can be cute too:

A rare moment of peace between the estranged siblings… unified by having conquered the yoga mat, which seems to be the best place to sit in the entire house

And what about the dogs?
