Our two cats, Mikey and JoJo had just about moved out of the house, and were very unhappy. After about 10 weeks of cat jealousy we sadly decided it would be best to find him a home. Larry and Helen adopted him shortly before Leilani was born, and we visited him today, he has grown up…
Unsere beiden Katzen Mikey und JoJo sind praktisch aus dem Haus ausgezogen, und waren total ungluecklich. Als die Situation sich nach 10 Wochen nicht gebessert hat, haben wir uns schweren Herzens entschieden ihm ein neues Zuhause zu finden. Larry und Helen haben ihn, knapp bevor Leilani auf die Welt kam adoptiert, und wir haben ihn heute besucht, er ist fast erwachsen…

We started taking Leilani on walks when she was a little over 3 weeks old, and have been on daily walks, to a picnic, to P.K.s in Poipu, shopping and even to Aloha International’s Talk Story.
Ausfluege
Wir haben Leilani ab der dritten Woche spazierengetragen, und sind seither taeglich mit ihr spazierengegangen, waren auf eine Picknick, und am beruehmten Surfspot P.K.s in Poipu (an der Suedkueste). Wir waren sogar schon bei Aloha International’s Talk Story.

Sometimes I am surprised how long Leilani can sleep, especially if I am talking to other parents. I think her record is close to 5 hours at once, and sometimes she sleeps about 12 hours, with 2-3 feeding breaks. Lately she has been starting to cry though, when waking up, before she was just making a little noise to wake me up, but maybe I am sleeping deeper and not noticing.
During the daytime she can sleep anywhere, anytime, and through any noise.
Schlaf
Manchmal bin ich ueberascht wie lange Leilani schlafen kann, zumindest wenn ich mit anderen Eltern spreche. Ihr Rekord ist 5 Stunden auf einmal, sie schlaeft bis zu 12 Stunden mit 2-3 Esspausen. In letzter Zeit weint sie leider wenn sei aufwacht, dafor hat sie nur leise Geraeusche gemacht um mich aufzuwecken. Vielleicht schlafe ich auch nur tiefer.
Tagsueber kann sie jederzeit, ueberall, und bei jedem Laerm schlafen.
