After the road cleanup we went on to explore Larsen’s beach where we saw 2 Monkseals – one of them with a pup (which unfortunately was hiding behind his mom). Leilani took a snooze at the beach, and when it got too hot and sunny at noon we went to Kilauea for pizza, and then on to the lighthouse. Later when it cooled off we went for a swim at Anini, and Andy explored Secrets Beach for a little while.
Liest irgend jemand die Deutsche Uebersetzung, der nicht auch gut genug Englisch kann? Ich wuerde die Zeit gerne sparen, und statt dessen mehr Photos zeigen.

Leilani admires a horse near Larsen’s beach (Wow that’s big…)

Leilani pets the horse (and I play with Photoshop)

Saturday we woke up Leilani – for the first time on purpose – at 6am to help clean up Kuhio Highway near Kilauea with the folks of Aloha International. She didn’t help much though…

Leilani wants everything we have, eat or drink, but she can’t drink that one for a while. We figured licking the bottle is OK though.

While riding in the car, Leilani entertains herself with a cloth cat-book.
