Oliver

Leilani and Oliver had so much fun at the pool

Oliver went twith us to the old Coyote Point Museum, which has reinvented itself as Curiodyssey

When the museum closed we went to the park:

Nubi Yogurt – which we will not eat anymore now that I saw the list of ingredients :-(
I kind of had suspected it and only allowed Leilani to eat what I thought of as white – but even that is made with food coloring…

El Corte de Madera Open Space Preserve

On Saturday we hiked in the El Corte de Madera Open Space Preserve

Raquelina and Dwight with Sofia, and Ana hiked with us

Threasures!

Ana forgot to make a face on this photo…

The sandstone formations were beautiful.

Leilani found mushrooms – Agaricus augustus, the Prince. The looked so good and fresh, but were full of worms already.

More treasures

Leilani needed me to take the photo exactly like that.

“Farewell to Spring”, or Clarkia amoena is one of my favorite flowers.

Angel Island

On our last day we hiked on Angel Island:

Kelby, Leilani and Belen on the ferry.

Photoshop must be broken. The saturation is off again.

Holding hands with Ethan

Bay-leave-snake-tongues. And Andy didn’t believe me the jacket would not be photogenic.

With Ella on a log

Morning Glory , still glorious in the afternoon

We didn’t manage to get a better photo of Shay and Ayelett, and the horizon is crooked because I couldn’t rotate it without cutting too much off (me)

That’s the Golden Gate behind us.

Dave and Rebbecca with Ethan and Megan

Kelby, Silvia, Keith and Belen

Hurry, the last ferry leaves at 5:20

I’ll spare you the details of kids falling and tripping on the way down and the photo of Andy running while carrying 2 kids… and a description of how my back reacted to running with the backpack…

But, we made it! With 5 minutes to spare. Which is good, as our plane left at 8 am the next morning. And on top of it all we managed to look relaxed just a few minutes later.

Get the sailboat, in front of the bridge, quick… too late….

We had excellent pizza at the Waterfront Pizza

Good Bye Mount Tam, see you next time!
