Day: October 18, 2012

Louvre (again…)

We had barly seen 10% of the Louvre and had really liked it, so we went back

We really liked Mars

…and Venus…

The 3 graces

The 6 nipples

They had touchable art for blind people (and kids I guess)

Islamic Art

Musée de Cluny

We took the subway to the medieval museum Cluny Musée national du Moyen Âge

Paris (last one for this trip)

Andy bought 15 pounds of used comic books. Leilani sat in the floor of the bookstore and read,

Very different fountains…

City Hall

Pizza and salad and fish for dinner (and yes we still regret feeding Leilani pizza, troubles every time…)

On Kauai we like the rain because of the pretty rainbows (among other things…) in Paris we like it because of the pretty reflections

Metro Station

Centre Pomidou

We took Leilani to the Parisian museum of modern art. She hated it. In the beginning her conservative comments were kind of funny, but she was truly offended by some of the art and so interruptive that I could not enjoy badmouthing the “art” either. (Which I usually like to do in museums of modern art).

At leat they had some jumpable art…

Compared to the rest that was one of her favorites, but her body language speaks for itself

That one we all liked

I thought that was kind of cool. Remember how they packed computer components 10 years ago?

Again… I kind of liked this room. especially the sleeping guard.

Most of that mirror was one of the exhibit, we just added a little reflection…

But the outside is very impressive
