Looking at books while waiting for the big event
Prom night?
Waiting for the speech
Her first diploma. Or is it? I guess she got one from Tutu and Me too…
The proud family
The whole Pre-K class
With teacher Brigidan
Leilani with teacher Liselle
On the stage with Sophia
Posing like a real princess
I made the movie for the school’s website as well…
Grandma Rosemary made a beautiful Belle dresss for Leilani:
So when I put on the school’s blogpost I promised more to come… here it is.
These are the photos from Leilani’s camera
except for this one
Josselyn was riding in the wagon with Leilani
And these photos were taken with my new camera. I am really proud of the sign, the MNS logo was so small it was almost unrecognizable, so I silk screened the original logo, photographed and photoshopped it, worked on it with Illustrator and finally colored it all in and had it printed.
Leilani loves her new (our old) camera.
Best friend Olivia riding with Leilani.
Hat alert in the slightest wind
There were over 70 people from MNS – highest turnout in a long time
Sophia made her own hat (with a little help from Chris)
Snailface
Freeing our butterflies. We mail ordered tiny larvae and raised these beautiful butterflies and set them free on San Bruno Mountain.
Trader Joe’s Coloring Competitions. TJ’s is Leilani’s favorite store, they treat kids really nicely, stickers, coloring pages, tasty treats, and balloons (which Leilani usually politely refuses for environmental reasons). I thought it was cute that she named the bugs, she wrote Otto and Lei by herself, and I suggested the other 2 names and spelled them for her.
