Check out my new website

A little off topic – but I need to make a living too, right? Nothing makes Mr G. find a cool new site about Solar Energy as fast as mentioning it on my blog…

Rainbow hair

“When you were young you had red hair…” mused Leilani. “You looked like Pippi and Ariel?” I answered truthfully “Well not quite. But I did have red hair like they do.”

Leilani sat swinging on the horse swing and obviously was lost in deep thought. Then: “I want rainbow colored hair.” I had kind of expected something like that so I answered: “Once you are grown up, and are at a university and have moved out of or house you can have your hair rainbow colored…”

That changed the topic “But, but, but, I don’t want to move out…” Leilani looked like she wanted to cry. I tried to explain “Only if you want to… I don’t live with Oma either…”, but made it worse. So I picked her up, off the horse swing for a big hug and assured her we’d never make her move out. Come boyfriend, husband, baby…

Millbrae Nursery School

On Thursdays I go to her new co-op school with Leilani. She still loves her new school, and is much more balanced and a lot more fun to be around. Recently she talked about how beautiful her old school was, and how she missed Jupiter the cornsnake… I was pretty afraid that she would want to go back there, but she just wants a pet snake…

This is the playground. Actually, just a small part of it.

Regina is a new best friend

Leilani climbs with Regina and Kieron – what is the chance of meeting a boy with (almost) the same name as her cousin?

Playdough is still an all-time favorite

The fort…

Birthday party inside the fort, Victor, Regina and Amy

Not at the school. But proof that she really likes artichokes.

Spring – Summer 09 Movie

Youtube upgraded! My videos are still just as shaky, but now look a lot better… still a little worse than on DVD…
