Leilani’s Art

Leilani gave us so much Artwork for Christmas that I had to un- and re-decorate the fridge. I took photos in the process:

Some of the art that came down: 3 wise women: Pele, the flower princess and the ice princess.

Volcano Comic

And the new stuff:

A Popup Christmas Card. Outside:

and Inside

Stamped Christmas card (Leilani now knows how to operate the stamp press and the stick-on stamps…)

Christmas

Leilani and I made a Gingerbread house from the Trader Joe’s (Aldi, Hofer) German Hexen Haus kit (and it was non-toxic and pretty tasty so we ate it all up in the meantime)

And we baked at least 7 kinds of cookies.

Leilani got an ipad. For a week she wanted to play with it all the time, (by now we found a healthy balance again)

But on Christmas Day she did not want to get out of bed, not even to unwrap her other presents.

But in the end she was glad she did.

Not a present….

Later on she was allowed to watch “Kinderkino” German TV on the ipad

Some of our Christmas lights (which are still up but not plugged in anymore)

Elfland and Pre-Christmas

A few of my clients seemed to have a lot of work for me, so I signed up Leilani at the Elfland Wintercamp. While the work situation was more than disappointing, I did make god use of the time and so did Leilani. Noreen who operated the camp took some photos:

Andy and I went on a hiking date on the last day of teh wintercamp
