Various Mixed Photos

After hula class one day, Leilani demanded her photo be taken as she hugged the tree (good thing Andy had his iPhone and the iPhone has a camera):

Andy and Leilani often ride the bicycle together. Andy says: I take Leilani to school in the morning half the time (or more) and then take my bicycle on the train to San Francisco. On weekends when we’re not camping, I like to go exploring, here to the Sawyer Camp trail from Millbrae to San Mateo. If I can, I always stop to read the historical markers:

While Leilani was at the Little Gym for the monthly “parent’s night,” Andy and I walked along the bay from Millbrae to the Coyote Point in San Mateo. Hiking/walking without Leilani is nice for a change: we get a workout at 3 mph and we get to focus on ourselves for a change. We found this beautiful Mallow-Hibiscus along the way:

And a granite map (we walked the red line all around the lagoon and beyond):

We ended the evening at an Irish bar with Guinness for me and Irish Whiskey for Andy:

Old picture from Andy’s iPhone, on a afternoon to a nearby playground (with the bike). Monkeybars are still hard:

At the little gym:

Puppet show at the library, Leilani is the one pointing in the front row:

Nubi Yogurt, our new favorite dessert treat:

I put a few more new photos on the Maker Faire post, but the 2 best ones are here too. Leilani made a rocket from paper and got to shoot it with compressed air 5 or 6 times until it finally crumpled up (Andy helped with the taping, and it went really high):

At school:

Sonja got a ticket for parking at the wrong side of the street:

Leilani loves to swim now, she still has a lot of flotation devices, but no more fear. Here at the Millbrae co-op pool (not affiliated with Millbrae Nursery Co-op) as guests of her friends Olivia and Luci:

More hiking and exploring one afternoon after work at South San Francisco Sign hill (near the top ‘O’):
