About this blog

Since many of the readers of this blog are inexperienced blog readers, here are a few tips:

1. We the Bloggers love to receive comments on this blog. There is a link at the beginning of each article that says “Click here to comment” (in big blue letters). All you have to do is click there, enter your name (or nickname, will be seen by others) and email (will not be seen by others, just us), and then type your comment, just like you’d type an email. Write in whatever language you want, we’ll try to translate for others. When somebody writes another comment on the same post, you will get an email notification. We are happy about emails and phonecalls that tell us you like the blog, but our family and friends are so far apart, that we’d like to create a little virtual community where everyone can participate through comments.
    
2. Most of the photos are active links that you can click on to see the image full screen (you may need to make your browser full screen). Once you are viewing the large image, you can save it to your computer to make a slideshow, to print, or to put on your desktop (Leilani will thank you). If you would like photographic prints of these images, let us know (in a comment of course!) and we can upload the highest resolution to a photo service so you can order the prints you want.
    
3. We don’t have any categories or tags on this blog, they would all be “Leilani.” Use the search box at the top of the page in the purple banner if you would like to find something specific.
    
4. Navigation. We try to write new articles at least once a week, but often more. However since some posts are very long with many photos, only a few are displayed on the front page. Click “Read Older Articles” at the bottom of each page to read the next articles backwards in time. If you haven’t read the blog in a long time, you might need to go back several pages to see all the new ones. Click “Home” in the purple banner to go back to the front page and the newest articles. Click “Andy” in the purple banner to read Andy’s Kaua‘i Blog.
    
5. For the experienced blog readers: We may set up the RSS feed someday for those that use it.
    
6. If you’d like to write articles on this blog (only baby related please) we’ll happily create an account for you. Just send mail.
