Leilani goes to a gym now, I (Andy) took her there one time (when Mommy was sick) and got pictures. And she likes to hold hands with boys now too:
It’s a great place for kids, they get to run around in a padded room and play on real gym equipment. The teachers are great with the kids and make the parents feel welcome. During the gym class, the parents can either watch through the window of the gym room or leave and get stuff done.
I wanted to stay and watch her this one time. Leilani is one of the youngest, but she still participates well and can do most of the activities right.
This was through the reflection on the glass: I think the balance beam is one of her favorites, and she’s good at it.
After the gym I took her to Trader Joes (see previous post) and on a walk. Seeing I was taking pictures of her, she stopped and asked me to take her picture, unfortunately, next to a shopping cart and garbage can (cropped out).
Like most of Leilani’s walks it was more of a jog. But I don’t mind, the days when she giggles “Chase meeeeeee” and runs off will be over far too soon…
